An Phan graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). He is currently working as a Research Assistant at VinUniversity under the supervision of Dr. Thai Mai Thanh.

His research interests include Soft Filament Sensor and Soft Surgical Robot.
