Nguyen Thi Tra My

My Nguyen is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She is currently working both as a Graduate Research Assistant at UIUC under the supervision of Prof. Brian Cunningham and as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Hieu H. Pham.

Her research interest focuses on developing a biosensor using liquid biopsy samples for cancer detection. Her current focus is to create platforms that offer accurate, rapid, sensitive, and low-cost detection and quantification, making cancer diagnosis accessible in low- and middle-income countries.
